We’re a week away from learning whether the CW will pick up “Veronica Mars” for a third season. AICN regular MiraJeff asked Kristen Bell about the show’s chances:
Greetings Herc and AICN Coaxial, MiraJeff here taking a break from Tribeca reviews to send a little scoop about the chances of Veronica Mars coming back for a third season. While promoting her film at the festival, Fifty Pills, I had the chance to talk with Kristen Bell about her work in Fanboys, Pulse, and of course, everyone's favorite UPN show.
When asked, "What's your gut instinct about the CW picking the show up for next season," the beautiful, talented Kristen Bell had this to say:
"I'm not worried about next season at all. We've gotten the phone calls and the optimism from the people that we need to get it from like Dawn Ostroff who has been very involved in saying 'don't worry.' You never know 'til it's down to the wire which it's gonna be but I mean, they've never hidden their support as viewers or as executives that you know, run the show and um, I'm not worried. I think the show has a lot to offer and I think that if we're lucky we'll be back but I'm really not worried about it."
Sounds like a good bet to me Veronica will be taking her sleuthing skills to the CW's fall lineup. Keep an eye out for my review of Fifty Pills on the site soon. 'Til then, this is MiraJeff, signing off...
