VERONICA MARS Launches Into Tuesday Orbit!

I am – Hercules!!

Does tonight bring our first glimpse of The CW’s first Tuesday-night line-up? A new ”Gilmore Girls” at 8 p.m. followed by a new ”Veronica Mars” at 9 p.m.?

“Mars” now has to deal with “House,” “The Unit,” “Scrubs,” “Teachers,” “Sons and Daughters” and “Pepper Dennis” – instead of “Lost” and “American Idol.” An excellent swap from where I sit.

After tonight’s episode, “I Am God,” only four season-two episodes remain: “Nevermind the Buttocks” (2.19), “See You Next Tuesday” (2.20), “Manning the Ship” (2.21) and “Not Pictured” (2.22). Coaxial News’ own girl detective, “Victoria Barsoom,” has spoilers for tonight and the next two episodes beyond (BEWARE!! Uninvisotexted spoilage abounds):

What’s up with your favorite Veronica Mars characters over the next few episodes?

Logan: Takes a trip down memory lane with Veronica and flashes back to their Summer of Love. Holds a prom in his hotel suite when the HS prom is cancelled. Invites Veronica and ends up inviting more than he asked for. Has a long talk with Veronica about the future of their relationship.

Wallace: Pursues Jackie and finally snags her on prom night.

Keith: Investigates Kendall Casablancas. Finds himself on the wrong end of a gun.

Weevil: Is suspected by Veronica of having a role in the bus crash. Faces off with the Fighting Fitzpatricks.

Woody Goodman (Steve Guttenberg): Asks Keith’s help in dealing with a little problem: an illicit liaison with a woman who is not his wife.

Mac (Tina Majorino): Goes to the prom with a surprising date.

Kendall Casablancas (Charisma Carpenter): Comes under scrutiny for her role in the bus crash. Gets a booty call from an old lover.

Meg Manning (Alona Tal): Appears to Veronica in her dreams to give her important information about the bus crash.

Dick: Grosses out viewers with his caveman dating tactics.

Beaver: Whines about getting crap because of his relationship to Dick.

And most importantly, Veronica: Dreams about all the kids involved in the bus crash, including Marcos (referred to in 2.08, "Ahoy Mateys), Peter (referred to in 2.14, "Versatile Toppings"), Rhonda (referred to in 2.05 "Blast from the Past") and Betina (Dick's wrong-side-of-town ex-squeeze). Gets good news and bad news about her college plans. Tracks down the person who ran over her classmate’s dog. Finds out who is stalking Gia Goodman. Reconnects with a former boyfriend. Gets bad news from the doctor. Thinks about restarting her relationship with Logan (expect to see some roadblocks).
