“Star Wars: The Series” doesn’t start shooting until 2008, and no one knows who will air it, but producer Rick McCallum told the BBC News it will run a minimum of 100 episodes. That’s a lot of episodes. It took “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” for example, five seasons to reach 100 installments.
McCallum “added that it was unlikely any of the stars of the movies would be involved in the TV series,” according to the Beeb.
