The trades are afire with news that Ving Rhames has been cast opposite male model Will Toale in The CW’s “Aquaman” pilot (which I guess means “Kojak” won’t be getting a second season on USA).

But this one dude, “Sausage King,” keeps writing us to tell us that Les Moonves has already vetoed the casting of Toale as the title fish-man. (Maybe they’re go back to the feller who played water-craving Art “A.C.” Curry in “Smallville”?)

Don’t know if it’s true. But if it is, you heard it here first.
