Bond is facing off with a Dane named Mads Mikkelsen!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with an official (finally!) bit of casting news for CASINO ROYALE. Daniel Craig is 007! Oh, wait... you already know that... that's not new! Hrmm... Oh yeah, Craig's Bond is going to be matching wits with Le Chiffre in the film and Le Chiffre will be played by a Danish actor with the coolest name ever: Mads Mikkelsen.
I am in no way familiar with Mr. Mikkelsen's work, having avoided KING ARTHUR like the plague (he played Tristan in the movie) and not being up on my Danish cinema. However, he looks pretty intense in his IMDB photos.
According to the trades, he's rumored to be basing his villainous character on Aleister Crowley, of all people. Now THAT is truly interesting. Can we really be getting a disturbing Bond villain again? I'm excited to see him and Craig battle it out!
