Grandpa Munster ceases being undead...

Hey folks, Harry here... Here with a degree of bittersweet sadness. Al Lewis, better known as GrandPa Munster has left the realm of the undead to settle down for the eternal rest he so richly deserves. I love Grandpa Munster, in fact - I always kinda saw myself as being a member of the Munster family. I really wanted Grandpa Munster to invent cool as hell goth-shit for me to use.
He did lots of work outside of the MUNSTERS, but that's the version of him that we carry with us. However, I loved his voice work in Ralph Bakshi's COONSKINS and actually I own a cel of his "godfather" character from that beyond outrageous retelling of the Brer Rabbit tale. Who can forget his Judge in USED CARS? Or his too brief performance in MARRIED TO THE MOB? Mainly he was seen in tons of television appearances... and GRANDPA MUNSTER! We're not sure if it was garlic or sunlight or a steak that got him. But death was always just a minor inconvienance for Al, I'm sure he'll produce plenty of Munster After 2nd Life productions that we'll all enjoy in our own turn behind the veil.
