Looks like Tim Burton and Johnny Depp will be giving us a reeealllly close shave!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a really interesting rumor. MovieMusicals.net has posted a bit "from valid sources" saying that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp will work again on the film version of the musical SWEENEY TODD, about the murderous barber. I've also confirmed this as a valid bit of talk from a source of mine as well, so while I wouldn't call it anything more than a rumor at this point, I think there's certainly something going on with this project. Sam Mendes is no longer attached to direct the musical.
I'm a big fan of most of Burton and Depp's collaborations... matter of fact, I've just been going through the special features on that ED WOOD special edition that came out a few months back and forgot just how awesome that movie is. I'd love to see them knock another one out of the park and this material's just twisted and sick enough to make 'em both smile. What do you think?
