Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a bit of news for a new comedy project called WILD HOGS written by Brad Copeland, one of the writers of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. It has hit the trades that Tim Allen and John "Oh mah-Gawd" Travolta are in final negotiations to play 2 of 4 middle-aged suburban bikers that are the focus of the film. This group goes out on a biking adventure (I'm sure the term mid-life crisis will be mentioned in the flick) and run into the real Hell's Angels. Mayhem and comedy ensues.
I know it's an unpopular opinion these days, but I still really like John Travolta and would love to see him pull out of his funk with a good comedy. And Tim Allen can be great when he's not in a fat suit or in any Disney movie (Pixar doesn't count). I'd love to see him pull out another GALAXY QUEST. Looks like they're going for a CITY SLICKERS type with this one. What do you folks think?
