Carla 'Yum-Yum' Gugino has a NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM with Ben Stiller!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a bit of info on Shawn Levy's upcoming flick, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM about a bumbling museum security guard played by Ben Stiller who somehow unleashes an old curse that causes all the animals in the Museum of Natural History to come alive and cause some mayhem.

It seems that Carla Gugino is in final negotiations to join the film. Originally, Stephen Sommers was going to direct this flick, but I guess he's busy writing WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE while that FLASH GORDON movie is bubbling over on the back-burner... I'm not sure if they traded up or down with Levy... He's done lots of crap, like CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN and BIG FAT LIAR. I'm sure he's a super nice guy... I hope he makes an entertaining flick. He's got a good cast shaping up. I like Ben Stiller a whole bunch and any time they put Carla Gugino on the big screen is good news no matter what. At least I think so. What about you?
