Pang Brothers flip the light switch and send us into THE DARKNESS!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with an update on the goings on from Danny and Oxide Pang (Directors of THE EYE). Looks like they're taking a whack at Top Cow's comic book THE DARKNESS, about a mafia hitman who finds out he's an heir to a spooky and supernatural force. Platinum Studios and Blue Star Pictures have raised half the budget on their own and Miramax has an option to distribute the flick. When I first read about the Pang Brothers and Darkness it took me a while to shake Charlie Murphy and Rick James out of my mind... but that's probably just me.

I don't know this material, but I really liked the first EYE flick (apart from the "raining bodies" scene I didn't much care for the second one). Very curious about this one. Hopefully the fans (or haters) of the Top Cow comic can give their two cents below.
