Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some info on the newest project with Alexander (SIDEWAYS/ELECTION) Payne's name attached to it. He's just producing this one, but it sounds pretty cool. It's called THE KING OF CALIFORNIA and it stars Mr. Michael Douglas under the direction of Michael Cahill. He might be a newbie director, but he's already found success as a novelist (THE NIXON MAN). The flick is a comedy about a manic depressive dad who believes there is treasure buried in the San Fernando Valley and his relationship with his teenage daughter. Wait! No age difference jokes! I know you want to, but please...
Anyway, I like the sound of this and if it's got Payne's support count me excited. What about you folks?
