Hey folks, Harry here and it is that time of the year again! Time for BUTT-NUMB-A-THON Audience Selection.

As always, the audience will be chosen EVENLY between Austin Locals and Folks from the 4 corners of the Earth (I.E. folks not living in Austin.)

This is the 7th Voyage of BUTT-NUMB-A-THON and as such, I feel a helluva lucky outing. Cinematically speaking this has been an adventurous year for me and certainly there is no greater adventure to wrap up the year with than BNAT. The program for this year has been coming together extraordinarily well. In fact, if my luck holds out in programming this year, it'll easily eclipse the "awe and wonder" of BNAT 5.

This year, we'll be holding the festivities for the 7th time at the Downtown ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE here in Austin from noon Saturday, December 10th through noon Sunday, December 11th, and as always it will be an extremely limited audience of the utmost fanatical film goers. Between right now and October 26th, I'll be accepting applications to get on the list for this year's BNAT tickets which will be purchased from Tim League and the Alamo Drafthouse.

Now remember, this is a charity event, where funds go to recoup expenses for throwing the show and sponsoring the SATURDAY MORNING FILM CLUB - which has now show over 80 rare and cool films to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters' kids as well as other children from the Austin area. This helps to ensure a healthy cinematic diversity and thirst for cinema in tomorrow's future filmmakers and film geeks. The line up will be a mixture of extremely cool special advance film presentations and premieres - along with classic and cult cinema experiences like only I and Tim League can line up. This has become known as GEEK CHRISTMAS, not just because of the Cinematic experience, but all the cool stuff you get in the astonishing goody bags we give out each year to every single attendee. Sometimes these goody bags are extremely cool, what's in them this year? YOU'LL SEE!!!

8) *BONUS* Creative image (Drawn, Photoshopped) that expresses abstractly, what BNAT means for you. Select Images will be used in the yearbook and will result in special prizes for those whose images are selected for use in our "yearbook".

On October 31st, I will announce the names of those that have been selected to Attend this year's BUTT-NUMB-A-THON! These names will appear on a page on the Alamo Drafthouse's website - where the names appearing can then purchase their tickets.

There is no need to wait for the deadline of Midnight (Central Time) on October 26th to submit your application. In fact, the earlier the better. If this goes as usual, I will receive several thousand emails requesting tickets. APPLY ONCE! Multiple Submissions will be thrown out. Each year, the audience I hand pick is chosen for the event I'm throwing... trying to match the best possible audience with the line up I have chosen and scheduled. This year is simply going to be extraordinary as Han would say. So, Ready? Set? GO!!!!!!
