Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Fresh off of HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE, Mike Newell is now in negotiations to direct the Ronald Harwood (PIANIST) penned adaptation LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA, based on a book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The story is set in turn of the Century South America and focuses on a love triangle. Newell can be better than great when he's on the ball and from the look of things he's hit GOBLET OF FIRE out of the park. This could be one of the great romantic epic movies if everything comes together. Any fans of the book out there? Let me know what you think of this development in the talkbacks below.
