Any film that teams up Kevin Spacey and Linda Fiorentino has got my immediate attention. That’s just too friggin cool of a team-up. Of course having her Last Seduction character torture Keyser Soze would be about as cool as it gets, but hey that’s fan boy fantasy, not reality.
Just to let you know about a new film called Ordinary Decent Criminal starring Kevin Spacey and Linda Fiorentino. The film is about the Irish gangster Martin Cahill, about whom John Boorman has already done a film (The General or I Once Had A Life as the IMDB has it). The film is being directed by Thaddeus O'Sullivan who has previously made the movies December Bride and Nothing Personal.
The actors are due in Ireland in the next week or two, and there is going to be major scene's shot in the Bank Of Ireland on College Green in the Dublin City Centre for those of you interested. A friend of mine has seen the script and says it is taking a more American view of Martin Cahills life than The General did (including a number of big shoot outs). Hopefully I will get my hands on the script shortly and let you know what I think.
That's it for now.
