Once again Elston came through with a Weekly Recap. THough he did miss the bit in the Dimension Article about Quentin Tarantino writing a script based on Elmore Leonard's FORTY GUNS novel. I also know, that Quentin is working on an as of yet unknown original script. But enough jabbing on my part, on to the recap...

A quality casting week I must say. I don't know where to begin. The GRINCH news last week brought about an interesting debate. The names Jim Carrey and Ron Howard thrown in should provide quite a twist. *** How about the cast of THE LIMEY? Excited? Me too. *** I pulled the X-FILES sequel news from a report about Chris Carter's new deal with FOX TV. I thought it was worthy to mention. *** Jennifer Love Hewitt is producing and starring in "a LOVE STORY for the 90s." I hope this is won't result unfavorably by the public a la EXCESS BAGGAGE. *** FLAWLESS and FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME are really starting to take off and shape up nicely--as is THE MARK. I look forward to all 3 productions. *** Finally, the Eddie Murphy flick is interesting. The writer for the MYSTERY MEN flick wrote it and THAT cast is unbelievable.
See ya next week.
