Ahoy, squirts! Quint here to point you at an interview with Hooper conducted by Devin over at CHUD. I've heard some... interesting stories about Richard Dreyfuss and needless to say I'm terrified to ever meet the man, even though his face was a landmark in many of my childhood (and still all-time) favorites. A lot of the reason why is what happened to poor old Devin during his interview...
Don't get me wrong, the interview is one of the funniest things you'll read today... but... iced coffee... dripping face... Oh poor, poor man. However, lucky, lucky us. This one'll make you howl. I know I was laughing out loud.
This interview is part of CHUD's set visit and part 5 of the big internet campaign. There'll be 9 chapters total where 8 sites and AICN get to spend a day onset and interview one of the key filmmakers or cast. In the past Freeze Dried Movies, UGO, JoBlo and more have visited. Word is that evil bastich Moriarty has blown his way into the queue and will be doing the final set visit and will interview Wolfgang Peterson himself. Good thing, too. If it were me I'd totally embarrass myself. DAS BOOT is brilliant... but somehow the interview would end with me singing Limhal while he runs in terror. Even then the interview would be less uncomfortable than Devin and the classic dry wit of Richard Dreyfuss... Enjoy!
