You may be interested to know that Christies, the world famous auction house, hosted a 007 related sale today in London. Props, posters, books and related paraphenalia were on sale and the sale has been preceeded by a great deal of press and TV coverage.
Unfortunately the pressures of work here at Q-Branch meant I could not be there but I attended a viewing yesterday and even put in written bids on a couple of minor items. However I had no success as hammer prices far exceeded estimates in the catalogue.
The big items to go were;

Bonds Magnetic Watch from Live and Let Die - £21850
Lotus Esprit Underwater Shell - £29900
Triumph Stag from Diamonds are Forever - £20700
Official U.K car number plate 0007 - £28,000
