Ahoy, squirts. Quint here with a link where you can donate to the Red Cross to help those still trying to survive in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I dropped a link to the donation in one of my reviews, but I figured it'd be best to get a bigger link on the site. Anything you can donate will help. Keep in mind that there have been some schmucks who have set up fake Katrina donation sites and are just pocketing the money (click here for FEMA's list of real charities).
There are other good ones besides the Red Cross there, like the Humane Society. When people have been rescued out of their flooded homes or off their roofs, the rescuers, understandably, won't allow their pets to join them. These guys are out there rescuing these animals.
I've used Red Cross before for donations and have used them again now. The below link is where you can donate to Red Cross. Give what you can.
