About LOCK, SHOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS

This fella wrote me a letter about the coverage (actually the lack there of) on LOCK, SHOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS on the site. Well the truth of the matter is this. I haven't seen the film and I haven't been getting reports on it. I would love to see this film, but a screener hasn't appeared at my P.O.Box, if one did, I would most certainly take a gander and if it hit me like it has hit this fella... well I'd write up a storm. Also, I don't know if the film has been picked up yet. I saw posters for the film while I was in London, and really did want to see it, but I haven't. Oh well, maybe someone will answer the call...

I might have missed something, but I haven't heard about Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels on your site. I was in London last week on business and needed something besides another pub or monument to take up my time. I walked to the local cinema and found this movie. (By the way, I agree with your overview on the weirdness inherent in seeing a film in London.) The long and short of it - I thought the movie was fantastic. Its a really violent romp in a comedy of errors kind of setting. Its the type of movie where every detail of the film intertwines. The basic plot is about four friends who raise 100,000 pounds to enter into a private card game with some seedy types. One of seedy types, Harry "the hatchet", cheats them out of all their money and puts them 500,000 pounds in the hole. He gives them one week to pay the money back or violence will ensue. Now the four characters must raise the money and here is where the ride begins.

Regardless, I'm sure you know all about this movie and I was wondering what you thought or when I can look forward to seeing coverage on your site? Is there a U.S. release planned, if so when? If you want my review I'll be happy to provide you with one, but get back to me.

Thanks,

Andy
