Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some cool developments in the world of documentaries. Lions Gate is producing a documentary called THE U.S. VS. JOHN LENNON that chronicles the period of John Lennon's life where he became a politcal figurehead for a whole generation as he fought against the Vietnam war. According to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER the doc has Yoko Ono's approval. As a big Beatles nut (got my tickets to see McCartney in November!) I'm excited to see a focus on this aspect of Lennon's life.
