Here's something that sounds like it would be interesting as hell to check out. This takes place over at the Smithsonian and well... they tend to do a good job of doing cool things, with the exception of my presentation which couldn't be cool because I was involved and I suck so much. However, this is something that will most definately not suck, so go check it out...
I wanted to let your readers know about our upcoming Making of Titanic program and offer them a big discount at the same time.
The program will take place here at the Smithsonian on September 26th. Speakers include: John Landau, producer; Rob Legato, Oscar-winning Special Effects Supervisor; Don Lynch, Titanic historian; Ken Marschall, visual historian; and Ed Marsh, videographer. They are going to be talking about all of the amazing phases of production and showing some truly stunning video/film material including time-lapse contruction of the ship model and incredible location footage.
The program starts at 10 a.m., there is a break for lunch, and it ends around 4p.m. Interested AICN fans should call our registration number at 202-357-3030 and mention that they read about the program on your site and they will be eligible for the student price (saves them $40!). The program code is 1L0-014.
