Now you too can be violated by James Gunn's... SLITHER!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I've been a bit harsh with Mr. Gunn thanks to suffering through SCOOBY DOO and disliking him tackling the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake (having said that, his script was much better than the movie, which most people really like). However, I'm really pulling for this flick to work. I've recently watched THE SPECIALS, a film he wrote and also acts in, which isn't 100% successful, but damn if I didn't enjoy it, espcially Gunn's character.
My reaction to this trailer when it played at Comic-Con was rather lukewarm. Something about that opening just seemed very arrogant to me and turned me off before I even saw any footage. Going back and rewatching it now I find I'm warming up to the trailer. I mean, as a die-hard '80s horror geek... seeing killer slugs creating zombies and mutated fucked up looking people has to make me smile. I'm pulling for the flick to work.
