Here's just a brief bit about the last film (for now) with a contribution by Edward D Wood Jr. There's a name that just screams CULT, and god isn't the world better for it. With one of the best casts he never had, this sounds like it would be super cool...
Don't know if this would be of any interest, but today I watched 'I Woke Up Early the Day I Died.' Directed by Arlis Iliopulos from an Ed Wood script, starring Billy Zane, cameos from Eartha Kitt, Christina Ricci, Tippi Hedren, and tons more. It's pretty hard to describe it...actually, pretty much impossible! There are lots of film clips of things like black and white shots of stuff you'd find in the 50's, kinda happy family type clips, interspersed within the movie. And, periodically the you'll see portions of the script on screen, helping explain part of the story. I guess it's really the sound that drives the film, since there's no dialogue and instead you're getting kind of an interesting mix of sound. The music is really cool (buy the soundtrack whenever it comes out) Basically, I thought this was a really interesting film. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it before, but then again, I haven't seen that many movies (relatively speaking). If you use this, just call me Buffy.
