Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with something that is too cool for school. My favorite Bond flick is FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and while it has been known for a long time that EA is gearing up to adapt that film as the next Bond video game with Sean Connery himself coming back to voice Bond, I just recently got the heads up on these clips from the game up over at IGN. Video game Robert Shaw! I heard the Shaw estate doesn't like giving permission to use his likeness, but that's definitely young Russian Shaw and that first clip is definitely the opening of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE! I don't care if there was a mask pulled off, revealing a goon underneath... in my mind Robert Shaw killed Bond in that opening! I'm so gonna play Donald "Red" Grant in multiplayer!
There's just something incredibly cool about playing Connery Bond in a classic Bond flick's settings. It's especially cool now that Connery has said he's going to quit acting (I'm guessing he's quitting acting like Brando quitted acting... someone's just gotta empty their bank account to get them in a movie). I'm hoping EA makes this more GOLDENEYE and less all the other shitty James Bond video games since. I loved seeing Goldfinger in the last one, but the playability sucked so hard.

Pretty Damn cool, huh? Sure he sounds older, but I prefer it being him as opposed to new sound alike. And dig the Desmond Llewellyn with greying hair. Hope this gets to you.
