Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... now that some filming has begun on X3 expect a flood of news and behind the scenes pics. Although, SuperHeroHype says that the filming being done in San Francisco this week is for the trailer to premiere in December we're still getting tons of reports. We got one that said there is flooding on the streets of San Fran and we've gotten pics of cranes and crew... That's just now for the trailer. When the actual production starts up next week we'll be hearing tons more.
But to hold you over, IGN got an exclusive on the casting of Kitty Pryde, which was previously being negotiated with Maggie Grace, from LOST... I interviewed Grace during Comic-Con (keep an eye out for that in the next day or two) and we touched upon her leaving the project there, which has been widely reported. As hot as Grace is I'm rather happy that they've cast a more unknown in the role (her name is Ellen Page), especially one that's 15 years old. Kitty has always been a kind of little sister to the group and I'm glad the actress is at least the right age to play that angle.
Anyway, follow the link below to see IGN's story as well as a pic of new mutant!
