Hey folks, Harry here with one of the more interesting developments in recent days. It seems that after using Olive Oyl's song from Altman's work of unrecognized genius, POPEYE in PUNCHDRUNK LOVE - that Paul Thomas Anderson has begun being friendly with Altman. Now - I believe that for DGA reasons - cuz - god forbid they break any rules - PTA is only pinch hitting or ghost directing (depending who you talk to) with Altman on this PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION... and a pairing of two directors - I don't think has ever been this interesting. Though - Tarantino and Rodriguez on GRIND HOUSE is pretty damn fucking cool too!

Don't know if you heard the rumors that Paul Thomas
Anderson is assisting Robert Altman on "Prairie Home
Companion", and although he has no official title his
director's chair reads "Pinch Hitter". Anyway there
