Here’s what doesn’t happen on “Battlestar Galactica” 2.2.

* Bill Adama does not return to duty. Not this week. Not next week. Not the week after. Tonight he doesn’t even sit up.

* President Roslin does not get returned to office.

* Baltar, Tyrol, Cally and Crashdown do not get off of Kobol.

* Starbuck and Helo do not get off Caprica. In fact, Starbuck is the new Helo: she doesn’t reunite with her friends on Galactica for a looooong time, if ever.

For those who haven’t heard? The second season is 20 episodes long, but we only get to see the first 10 this summer. The second half of the second season starts in January 2006. In my view, it’s a good way to do it; viewers don’t have to deal with repeats, and it keeps the writers from getting too burned out.
