If you have read that alleged SCREAM 2 script, just got a letter from... Michael Myers... who is very "IN" and had this to say about it all...
I'm sure you've heard that over on Dark Horizons, they've run a link to a place that supposedly has the SCREAM 2 script. Well, here is the low-down on that:
I just wanted to clear up all of the talk that's out there regarding the supposed SCREAM 2 script that is on the Internet.
The script that is available at DREW'S SCRIPT-O-RAMA and a link featured on the Dark Horizon's web site is NOT the script used for SCREAM 2. This script and the one that's been floating around for a while (the one in which there is only something like the first 50 pages) are not anywhere NEAR the script that was shot.
Here's the low-down. Dewey is NOT a security guard at Sidney's school. Randy is NOT Gale's assistant. Her assistant is played by Duane Martin. Derek, Sidney's boyfriend, is pre-med. NOT a film student. In this phony script, there is a character named Joel. THERE IS NO SUCH CHARACTER AS JOEL!
So, if you've read a script that contains these elements, you've been had. Your script is the fake/scrapped version. The top of the script says the title SCREAM AGAIN, so that should be one clue that it's not the right script.
I got this information from sources VERY close to the movie and can guarantee you my information is accurate. The filmmakers don't want the fans to think this shitty script on the internet is the script they used for filming on SCREAM 2.
