Because you demanded it... another opinion on HERBIE: FULLY LOADED!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with another look at the genius blockbuster(s) of the summer, starring, apparently, Lindsay Lohan's "ample busom." This definitely doesn't sound like one to take the kiddies to. Do you have any idea how many creepy geeks and dirty old men will be in the audience getting turned on? "Mommy, why does that man keep scratching his pants?" ::Shudder::

Surprisingly, the word coming out is this movie doesn't really suck and may, in fact, be tolerable. I don't believe it myself, but you never know. I've been wrong before. Here's the review!

Hey Harry!

I was able to attend an advanced screening or Herbie: Fully Loaded and thought that I would pass along my opinion.

First off, I had NO intention of going and seeing this movie because I cant stand Lindsay "Skeletor" Lohan and because the previews didn't make it look interesting one bit. I did get an offer to see the movie for free, so I thought I would take my 8 year old nephew and see if he liked it.

So we get to the theater and there wasn't a huge turnout. It was a pretty big theater and there were plenty of seats. One thing that bugged me was they picked a really crappy theater to show it in. The place was old and was pretty dirty looking. You'd think Disney would pick a better locale. There was no nifty intro by a manager or Disney rep or anything, just straight into the movie.

Onto the movie....

Much to my surprise and despite my hate for everything Lindsay, I actually thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was fun, light hearted and a great family movie. My nephew hasn't stopped talking about the movie since we saw it.

The story is about Maggie, a girl who's family owns their own race team and have fallen on hard times, who is trying to live up to her grand dad's legend. Her dad, however, played but the under rated Michael Keaton, wants her to choose another career path. Well, basically she finds Herbie and the racing ensues.

The movie isn't real big on plot and I don't think its suppose to be. That's what makes it work so well! Its just a fun movie and that's all it tries to be.

I never thought I would say this but the funniest character in the movie is actually Herbie!

If all you are into are serious movies like "Magnolia", you don't want to see this movie. But if you like family movies or you have kids you want to entertain for a couple of hours, this is definitely the movie you want to see. Hell, I got some enjoyment out of it!

Another thing too, I heard rumor online that Disney supposedly went in and digitally shaved off some of Lindsay's ample bosom, but I wasn't seeing it. They are still alive and well in this one!!
