Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a link over to a really nifty promo webdoc thingy for LAND OF THE DEAD. It's really nice to see Universal really giving the honors to Romero even if it is getting a little on the ridiculous side what with the preprinted autograph on all the one-sheets and all, but hey... gotta love the respect. Anyway, there's a short clip that's been released that has some of the most recognizable faces in genre filmmaking today giving props to Romero. You also get some behind the scenes zombie goodness from LAND. I'm working on an interview with Romero at the moment as well as gearing up for a bit of a set report, my experiences as a Romero zombie... Actually, you'll see a couple zombies in the behind the scenes bit... one a thin, older man and the other looking eye-less. Those dudes were onset when I was and yes, they looked just as creepy in person...
Anyway, enough with all that jibber-jabber. It's a good time to be a geek. A BATMAN movie that rules is on the cusp of release, a Romero zombie movie on the horizon, a Spielberg Alien movie just after that... Rejoice, my geek brothers and enjoy the clip!
