PINK PANTHER booted to 2006! Anybody all broke up about this'

Hey folks, Harry here... Is it just me, or do you have HONEYMOONERS style expectations for THE PINK PANTHER remake? I suppose there's a mild level of interest due to Steve Martin teaming up with Kevin Kline... but not really. I read the script and did a lot of yawning and ultimately put it down before finishing it. But is the reason this film is getting Booted into 2006 due to it's immense suckage? Or - is it because with SONY's acquisition of MGM - they're having to rethink marketing and release dates as to not conflict with the product they already had in the release pipeline?

Of all the films MGM had sitting waiting to be released, the one I'm really anxious to see is Lucky McKee's THE WOODS. The trailer on the AMITYVILLE HORROR dvd box set was pretty fricking great and I've heard that Lucky finally got the film to where he was very happy with it. That's the MGM title I'm curious about. How about you?
