Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with an interesting trailer to share with you good people. Now... I'm not sold on this film... There hasn't been one horror movie yet that has worked using the internet as a central plot point unless I'm forgetting something... It's kinda like the "reality TV show device" in horror... HALLOWEEN 8 or whatever the hell number it was... Just doesn't work.
But I must admit to liking what I saw in the below-linked trailer, at least the footage part of it. It reminds me a bit of MANIAC, but mixed with something like FINAL EXAM. It's got an early '80s/late '70s feel to it... besides the AOL Instant Messenger bit, that is. Fingers crossed...
