Ok, I know yall are dying to hear who might be playing DOOMSDAY in the Tim Burton Superman film, and I think I might of found out. I was reading my daily copy of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and in it there was an article about.... Hulk Hogan. Now I don't know this for sure, but the paper that was provided by Krypto (the best paper fetcher the world has ever seen) said this:
"And he may have his shot at a major motion picture -- Jon Peters, producer of the upcoming "Superman" film to star Nicolas Cage, has called Hogan with the idea of appearing as a bad guy. "That, says Hogan, will take him to a higher level in his career."
Now we all know Hulk Hogan is dead wrong for Brainiac and Lex Luthor, so the only other villian we know of would be Doomsday, of whom Hulk Hogan definately fits the "build" of. And actually if you remember the way he looked as THUNDER LIPS in ROCKY III, he had that mean sorta look about him.
Also my script people at Warner Brothers called Yakko and Wakko, say that Dan (Outbreak [uncredited], Chasers and Freejack) Gilroy has just taken up the reigns to once again rewrite the rewrite of the rewrite of the cool script by Kevin Smith. Personally, while some very cool design work has happened since Kevin left the project, the progression of the written material hasn't had such an upward curve of brilliance. Hopefully Dan will reach down and save the script and the franchise-to-be before it's too late. Best of luck Dan, though I have to say I wish you never needed to come on. Not a slam at you, but I really did like that Kevin Smith draft. Sorry. Hopefully, you'll kick Kevin's ass, really I'd love that. First thing that needs to go is LUTHIAC. It's on page 30 right now, flip there with a black marker and have fun.
