Sharks and Lava coexisting! Weird! ADVENTURES OF SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL trailer hits!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a look at the trailer for Robert Rodriguez's THE ADVENTURES OF SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL. Now the trailer clearly states that this is from the director of SPY KIDS, so you know which Rodriguez did this one (although a part of me really wanted to see "From the Director of SIN CITY" in that trailer. That'd crack me up).
Being the great white shark hunter that I am, some of the images in the trailer make me very happy. Big sharks are almost guaranteed to bring big smiles to my face. The rest of it? It feels very much in the SPY KIDS universe. Of course, I want Rodriguez to keep making FROM DUSK TILL DAWNs and SIN CITYs, but you gotta admit it's cool that a father puts his son's dreams out there for the world to see.
I just hope that they release this 3-D Polarized, not red and blue. I saw some tests of the original SPY KIDS 3-D as it was meant to be seen, polarized, and it was incredible. When released it was muddled and the story wasn't really able to distract us away from the crappy red and blue 3-D process.
