I'm a long time reader and this is my first time sending in any info. I'm not sure if it's post-worthy, but none the less. I just saw Spike Lee talk at the University of Miami where I am a film student, and he gave some updates as to his upcoming and current projects -- He had just returned form shooting a BMW commercial in Buenos Aires, and said that his upcoming film "Inside Man" with Denzel, Clive Owen, and Jodie Foster would begin filming in June in NY and shoot there throughout the summer. The most juicy bit he gave was that the film he would most like to make after "Inside Man" is tentatively called "Save Us Joe Louis" based on the boxing legend. He described the film as "epic" and "gorgeous", and said it would include appearances by major historical and sports figures including FDR, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Hitler, amongst others. Sounded bad-ass, and something that only Spike could make the right way.
