A Review Of Fox

I am – Hercules!!

Fox hasn’t aired a new “Family Guy” since Valentine’s Day 2002, but begins its revival May 1, 2005.

What follows is the first of the 7,000 reviews of the episode we’ve received since the episode hit the bittorrents hours ago. (Remember, though, kids, that 20th Century Fox is an MPAA member and the MPAA is suing for many thousands of dollars those - and the parents of those - who trade movies and TV shows online without the permission of the license-holder. So be careful - unless you want mom and dad to have to take out a second mortgage to compensate the studios for your "free" copy of "Family Guy"!)

Curiously, this isn’t the show’s only lengthy hiatus from Fox, which broadcast no new episodes between Aug. 1, 2000 and July 11, 2001.

Here’s “Jonny H”:

Hey Harry,

Long time reader, first time writer blah blah

The first episode of Family guy, Season four has been leaked onto the internet and being the raging fan that I am, I couldn’t wait to get my grubby paws on the thing and had to download (Something which is very naughty I know, but worthwhile!)

Warning: spoilers ahead

The episode is called “North by North Quahog”, basic plot premise: Lois and Peter go on a road trip to try put the sexual spark back into their relationship and on their travels come across a copy of a film which Peter decides has to be destroyed (Passion of the Christ 2). Whilst this is happening Brian and Stewie have to look after Meg and Chris back home.

I can safely say the episode is fantastic, hilarious and as per usual up to the superb standard this programme has set. Highlights for me include,

The trailer for the passion of the Christ 2 starring Chris Tucker. (The film is set out as an action film, 2 fast 2 furious esque with a bad-arse Jesus shooting people) The scene involving Pinnochio (gay innuendo, always hilarious) Stewie and Brian playing the role of parents The return of the black news reporter (I’ve forgot his name! L ) “it’s gonna rain” was his memorable line from his last appearance, and there are a few other surprise cameos who I won’t reveal here

Overall a very satisfying episode and impossible to hate, die hard fans should love it
