Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
I had a chance to see the original Japanese-language version of HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE recently, and I thought it was a magnificent piece of film fantasy, rich and beautiful and densely textured. I’ll wait to write a full review until around the time the film is coming out, but for now, I’ve got to say that I don’t understand how any Miyazaki fan would be remotely disappointed by his latest film. You’ll get your chance to decide for yourself in June in the US, when Disney plans to release both the original subtitled version and a brand-new dubbed version (supervised by Pixar’s own big-brained Pete Docter) that stars Christian Bale, Emily Mortimer, Jean Simmons, Billy Crystal, Lauren Bacall, and Blythe Danner.
Want to see the new American trailer? Well, we’ve got it for you first this morning.
