It Might Not Be A Fat Lady, But A Singer Helps End KING KONG!

Hey folks, Harry here... Ya know - 9 and a half years ago when AICN started, the internet in regards to film was pretty lame. There were brightspots like Corona Coming Attractions and AICN - but there just wasn't much cool going on. And even that was just text and blurry photos. And while KongIsKing.Net and BlueTights.Net didn't begin the film online diary, by any means... They have infused it with such a playful sense of fun, a vitality and a giddy celebration of filmmaking - that I hope it changes the way high profile films are handled. Certainly, we hope to be bringing a Barsoomian Blog your way soon enough via my other life.

However, today... it a momentous day. We have the first Hollywood Blockbuster Blog Cross-Over... SUPERMAN RETURNS & KING KONG! Everything a growing boy could dream of! Heh! It's a shame Michael Mann isn't shooting ALI still, cuz SUPERMAN & ALI were meant for a cross-over. Sigh. If you check out KongIsKing.Net and BlueTights.Net you'll see how this hilarious cross-over plays out! In personal information, I can tell you that the SUPERMAN folks were blown away by some stuff Peter & Crew showed them on KING KONG, you don't get that from the diaries, but I was chatting with one of the SUPERMAN folks and even through pixels - drool was clear. Now... if we can just get the damn KONG trailer and a fantastic shot of Routh in the long johns... we'd be very happy!
