Hey folks, Harry here... I continue to wrestle with getting excited about BATMAN BEGINS. I like the script and the talent associated. I just don't really get excited when I see any of the results. I want Batman badass punishing the living shit out of evil in dark back alleys. I want to see YEAR ONE or DARK KNIGHT RETURNS or THE KILLING JOKE. I want Frank Miller BATMAN or Neil Adams BATMAN - and instead I'm just getting what Warners is giving us... which looks like a more serious take on the last series of BATMAN. I suppose I should just accept it, but goddamn it... I want more. I want the film BATMAN fans dream of. Hell - I got far more excited watching This Batman Animated Short than I have anything from the new film... and that's just not right. They're friggin legos man! Can't they do better than Legos? Anyway - I kinda dig these 10 second shorts...
