WOW! Harry here, and I couldn't be more thrilled by this development! Paul Thomas Anderson is making Upton Sinclair's OIL! into a movie!

Wow again! Most people seem to think Upton Sinclair only wrote about fingers in WENDY'S chili, but actually - THE JUNGLE is just his most famous novel. As is evident by the latest finding in fast food, it's still every bit as relevant as it was in the 20's. Well, right after THE JUNGLE, Upton wrote another fantastic novel, but this one based on the scandals from Southern California and ol President Harding. What? Scandals involving the President of the United States being in the pocket of Big Oil? Naaaaaaaaaah, pure fiction, what a load of hooie! Ahem. Personally - I had always dreamt of Frank Capra making this novel... but he is in retirement, so Paul Thomas Anderson will have to do. It was announced over at PTAnderson.Com and folks - This is one to be absolutely excited as hell for! 1- PTA is making a new film at last! 2- It will be a black eye for the Oil industry! And depending how things go, you'll be able to see it at the cost of a gallon of gas for evening admissions!
