Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
On Tuesday night, I’ll be hosting a screening of OLDBOY at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. Can’t wait. I’ve been listening to this score obsessively lately. It’s so incredibly lush and beautiful. I’ll also be giving away some cool swag and prizes before the screening, so make sure you show up early. If you’ve never had a chance to see John Carpenter’s THE THING on the bigscreen, do yourself a favor and visit the Egyptian on Wednesday night, when they’re showing it.
Saturday, AICN has nothing to do with the screening of CLONE WARS SEASON TWO at the Egyptian, but you bet I’m going to be there with bells on. Genndy Tartakovsky’s going to be there to discuss all the episodes after they’re shown, and then he’s going to screen one of his favorite films, a movie he says has inspired him in his own work. CONAN THE BARBARIAN on the bigscreen is always a good thing... almost as good as crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of da wimmen.
Almost.
You can find details for these screening, as well as the March 22nd OLDBOY screening I’m hosting at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, at the American Cinematheque’s official site.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
"Moriarty" out.
