Hey baby, I'm over here living the life in the Joad Abode and tip typing awaaaaaay, when fowl-feathered Falco flew in this friggin' file...
I was gerbiling with Richard Gere and Joe Hallenbeck last night (ya see, that's why his review got cut short). The gerbil escaped from Hallenbeck's nether-regions and dug a hole from our swank W. Hollywood Honeycomb Hideout to the secret fortress which houses the script for Austin Powers 2:
Liz Hurley will NOT return, it seems! (booo! hiisssss - I had hoped we'd get to see the Full Monty in the sequel). In the new script, Austin has dumped Felicity (Liz) because she is revealed to be a Fem-Bot. The plot is a mishmash of time traveling and references to the last Austin Powers. The story thus far (or as the Gerbil recited to me): Dr. Evil wants to destroy Austin so he travels back in time to hold captive Austin's libido. Also, in even more Bill-And-Ted rehashing, one plot point concerns time travel to 72 a.d. (or Roman Times) where they do battle (or something like that).
The best scene recited by the Gerbil thus far: Dr. Evil's subplot of a son (seen in the first movie) returns and they confront each other on Jerry Springer!
