From the land beyond beyond... Neo to step into Sinbad's boots'

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some... rather interesting news. My first reaction is to not be a fan of this casting. Sinbad in the past has always been a fairly unknown actor that can really become Sinbad (that shitty animated movie with Brad Pitt's voice doesn't count). I defend Keanu Reeves as an actor a lot, but I really don't see him pulling this character off. He doesn't have the rugged charm.

Another reason I'm not quite ready to get behind THE 8TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD is it's not the Sinbad story that Ray Harryhausen has recently announced as having written for the screen. I trust Harryhausen's imagination... not so trustful of Columbia's picking of a script written by the lady who wrote I SPY and CHARLIES ANGELS 2: FULL THROTTLE. Rob Cohen is supposed to direct as well... the directors of the Harryhausen films was never really important... I know that most assume it was Harryhausen himself who directed the Sinbad flicks... While I like Cohen, his name doesn't immediately instill confidence in his ability to bring this material to life. What do you folks think?

Hey gang,

I was randomly searching for some Bruce Campbell info (honestly, who can get enough Bruce?) when I stumbled across this completely non-Bruce related info concerning The One. I hadn't read anything about it here yet (or if I have I've forgotten) so I thought I'd pass it along.

Keep up the good work,
