Praise be to whatever being makes cool decisions like this! Both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported that Jeff Smith, creator of BONE, has just signed on to direct his BONE character in his animation debut for Nickelodeon Films. YIPPEE!!!!!!!! YAHOOOOOOO!!!!! HAZZZZAHHHHH!!!! Bone kicks ass all over the comic page, if you have no idea how cool this is then go check out The Official BONE homepage!!! I'm soooooooo fired up over this. Just imagine if Disney had offered Carl Barks a chance to direct an Uncle Scrooge animated film, or if someone had enabled Walt Kelly to do an animated POGO movie. This is grand news, fantastic news, super ultra fabulous news. Yippeeee!!!!!!!!! Can ya tell I'm excited? Hee hee hee hee.... Now if Warners would just produce a top of the line animated Batman film with Bruce Timm and Paul Dini in charge for Theatrical release, with a full top of the line animated budget. Sigh.... 'when you wish upon a staaarrrrrrr....'
