Hey folks, Harry here with a cool trailer for the new Adrien Brody film, the one before the holy shit Adrien Brody film for the year.... I'm talking about THE JACKET, which co-stars Kiera Knightley, before she gets all DOMINO on us later this year! Now the director is a fellow that most of you have never heard of before. John Maybury, but he's won film awards all over the world for years for his experimental and art films he's been creating. This film is gonna unleash up at SUNDANCE in the next week or two, and we'll begin to get reports back regarding how the film is. Then in March of this year, Warner Independent (fantastic new boutique company behind BEFORE SUNSET, A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT and the upcoming A SCANNER DARKLY) will be releasing it throughout the country. The trailer shows some of the flash and cool that Maybury's experimental work has shown, but this time tightly wound around a narrative. Will this be the first mainstream film by an artist that we'll all begin oogling for years to come? Or just another experiment that raises mild interest in those that love the art of film, but that the mainstream audience just doesn't respond to? We'll get a clue at Sundance!
