Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a link over to the best Stephen King news site out there (most of the time it's even better than King's official site!) Liljas-Library. As a Dark Tower junkie I checked Liljas-Library every day, waiting for the newest illustration or news on the future books. But now Dark Tower has reached its end and I find I still check Liljas-Library every day.
It looks like Mick Garris has supplied the site with some great stills from the upcoming TV mini-series adaptation of DESPERATION. I was supposed to visit the set, but then BNAT hit and the holidays were crazy, not to mention I seemed to have contracted my own strain of Captain Tripps from some bastard at BNAT, so I never made it. It's a bummer 'cause it looks like Garris did a bang-up job... I'm so glad that Garris made Collie as graphic as he did. Ron Perlman looks really bad... but in a good way... I figured it would have been much more watered down for TV audiences. Fingers crossed. I hop Garris hit this one out of the park.
