AICN SCREENING! If You

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

That’s right... time for another free screening in LA. I wish I could have a venue like The Alamo Drafthouse that I could program at a whim like Knowles has in Austin, but the truth is that LA screens are hard to come by. When I really believe in a film, though, it’s worth the hassle, and when you’re dealing with a studio that really believes in their film, it tends to be no hassle at all.

Such is the case with Bill Condon’s wonderful KINSEY, a film that has been getting phenomenal reviews ever since it played the Telluride and Toronto fests last month. Capone, Beaks, and I have all reviewed the film already, and now it’s my turn to show it to you. Like I said... I don’t do this often. The film won’t open until November 12th in NY and LA, and then platforms around the country after that, so this is an early peek at a film that I think is going to have people talking all fall.

Still not convinced? Check out the film’s new official site right here and see what it’s all about.

We’ll be screening the film at 8:30 on Wednesday night, November 3rd. Seating is very limited, and we expect a pretty large number of responses, so you need to call the RSVP line at 323-857-7623 immediately. Give them all your information, and if you’re confirmed, we’ll make sure you know where the film is playing. Bill Condon’s going to come by for a Q&A after the film, and that’s worth making the trip. He’s an incredibly smart filmmaker, and this is challenging stuff that should make for a great evening out.

Hope I see you there.

"Moriarty" out.
