Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Kevin Smith (along with Mattt Potter and Vinnie Rocca) is starting a website that will function as an ongoing short film competition, designed to give a spotlight to filmmakers who might not otherwise get one. Well, it’s up and running now, and you should definitely check it out:
Hey Harry,
Just thought I'd let you know that Director Kevin Smith and I just opened up a new website for indie filmmakers!
Hopefully some of your posse will submit some interesting stuff for us to look at!
Thanks man!
Mattt
You should definitely check out their FAQ first, because it answers any and every question you might have about just how this is supposed to work. Any new outlet for young indie filmmakers... particularly one associated with someone like Smith, who has benefited so much from the indie world himself... is a good thing. I’m sure there are a lot of you who read this site who will be able to take advantage of what MoviesAskew has to offer, so enjoy!
"Moriarty" out.
