Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a pair of nice interviews for you to take a look at. The first comes from CREATURE CORNER and is about 2 days old, so I apologize if you've seen this already, but for those that hadn't seen it yet it's too cool not to mention. Jeff Katz is the uber-horror geek that somehow made into a position of power at New Line and wrote a 20 page treatment for FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH. This is a horror geek's fantasy film project and I'm dying to see our favorite S-Mart employee put those deadite shitheads back in their places!
Next up is a chat with Dave Callaham who is in charge of bringing DOOM to life... on the page, at least. I remember playing CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN on my friend's computer around age 11 and how I marveled at how he could play a video game without a console or going to the arcade. Hehe... When DOOM came out I still didn't have a computer, but (somehow) talked my grandparents into buying the game for their computer. I cheated like a motherfucker (yay for codes), but damn if that game didn't make me jump. A film version won't be Shakespeare, but it could be a damn fun survivalist horror flick if treated with a tad bit of seriousness and not a block of cheese. Enjoy the chat!
