P. Renard tells tales of Crocs in Vancouver B.C. possibily snapping at the tasty Bridget Fonda's beautiful gams.Sounds like fun. Good work Agent Renard. You locals keep us informed.
I was in Vancouver today checking out the scene when to my surprise I espied many trucks and vans and signs saying "To Set ->" outside the Vancouver Museum of Art. My interest was piqued, and I realized that I had stumbled upon a movie crew shooting scenes in the city of a new Canadian flick called "Lake Placid". There was a huge scaffolding set up by the front wall of the musuem for exterior aerial shots of the downtown Vancouver.
Accosting on of the many loitering stage hands, i gleaned this information: The cast consists mainly of Vancouver locals, but Bill Pullman is starring. Possible other stars may include Bridget Fonda and Tom Arnold, but the stagehand may have been feeding me a line here.
The movie is about a man-eating crocodile, and is a comedy/suspense/thriller directed by Steve Minor (sp?) who directed Halloween H20. The crew was in its second day of shooting in the city, and on the 11th of a 50 day shoting schedule. They planned to move on to the British Columbia wilderness to finish the rest of shooting, as it was a good double for Maine, which was where it supposedly takes place.
This was as much information i could pull out of the stagehand before she started overcoming my jedi mind tricks. Gotta practice dem things.
well i hope this has been of service to you, Lord High of Cool.
this is P. Renard, signing off.
